Over the holidays we wanted a warm, soulful, and sunny getaway from a dark and moody Amsterdam winter. The province of Malaga, Spain gave us just that. We spent most of our time in Marbella, a resort town on the Costa del Sol. Going to this area during the offseason was a good move. Unbeknownst to us, much of Spain has a bustling tourism industry centered around other European nations, namely Britain, Germany, and the Netherlands. Essentially, the south of Spain is the Florida of continental Europe. During peak seasons, the beaches and resorts are packed. However in December, the amount of activity is just our speed. We enjoyed fresh seafood, long walks on the beach, and striking sunsets. Enjoy the pics!
